WELCOME to the 2012 Umpiring year.

Don’t forget the:

Club Umpires Convenors Meeting on Sunday 11th March at 3:00pm Upstairs at HDNA. Every club MUST be represented.

Beginners Level 1 Accreditation for new umpires which starts on Wednesday 21 March at 6.15, on the indoor court. Bookings for this MUST be through your Club Umpires Convenor. The cost of the Accreditation is $35 per person which will be billed to your club. Failure to attend ALL THREE nights will mean that the umpire cannot gain their Level 1 Accreditation. If an umpire cannot attend all 3 sessions, and you don’t want them to take a book, and thus be charged, please instruct them accordingly.

Ų Participants NEED a current rule book and whistle for this course. They will be on sale at each session - Whistles are $8.00 and Rule books $12.00 ($20.00 for both).

Ų This is a practical course so they will need to wear appropriate clothing and sandshoes. We also do some group work on the outside courts and it does get a bit chilly.

Numbers of attendees need to be emailed to Larissa by Sunday 18 March.
